Not as hot as I thought it would be

It's okay

I am super picky about my hot sauce. I bought 7 different ones. This being" The World's Greatest I tried it first. It was good. WORLD'S GREATEST, I would beg to differ. The thickness was good the sweetness was good but there was just something missing for me. Would I buy it again probably not unless I didn't find something better.

My New Favourite

I tried this sauce for the first time today as part of a weekly hot sauce-eating show I do for a podcast I host. We had no clue how hot it would be.

This sauce is terrifically flavour-forward and tastes totally tropical. It's sweet, and then it brings some heat.

Bottom line, I don't remember ever liking a hot sauce as much as I love this. Great on chicken nuggets.

You see those awards in the description? Those aren't just for show. Dirty Dick's is an all-time all-star whose place in any rotation needs to be seriously considered.

Unlike most sweet sauces, Dick's isn't afraid to bring the heat. Even though it lies deep below the various tropical fruits that hit your tastebuds up front, once it creeps to the surface you'll scarcely be able to avoid reaching for another hit to cool off...it's a vicious circle, but one that tells me a hot sauce is worth using.

For a fruity sauce, you will be stunned how often it fits the bill. It goes so well, with so many different foods, that other sauces of a similar type should take note to reach the calibre of Dirty Dick's.

Try. This. Sauce.

Nice sauce for everyone

I ordered online looking forward to Dawson's original (which I love) and I chatted online with the owner for a bit and he mentioned if I like sweet with a bit of heat try this one and I recall a few guests on Hot Ones liked this sauce. So I bought it. I don't like overly sweet sauces but found this to be quite nice. I also bought this because I stayed in the Virgin Islands for a while at my aunt's place and my buddy chef use to throw every fruit in with his hot sauces even Jack fruit. So that taste will always remind me of home. I find this to be a nice balance of sweet with just a bit of heat as the owner said. This is not as hot as something like Dawson's. I think the Scoville count is around 21,000 SHU. So for me very mild and I think this would be perfect for people that are heat shy. I tried a dab on my finger before putting on my eggs this morning and I find it to be a nicely balanced sauce that I think you could put on anything to brighten up your food with a bit of fruity sweetness. I'm looking forward to cooking my chicken with it tonight. Yeah, take suggestions from the people at Lucifer's, they know what they're talking about.
